Produced at a time when the Ocke Mannerfelt Bat Boats
were the main players in Class 3C, Pattern Forme was a
different approach to a winged monohull. She was an experiment
(coded ‘Slipstream’ within
my office), but a successful one. Although there was never
enough money to develop the craft fully she came second
in the National
3C Championship in 2003 and took the Class National Speed
Record at 82.67 mph. In 2004 she was first in the National
3C Championship.
